Outlaws, shoot-outs, and ghosts. Oh my!

The allure of the Wild West did not end with dust-covered ghost towns. Cowboys and outlaws roamed expansive mountain ranges and deserts, coining a hard working yet free spirited idea around the West. Nothing ever came easy and trouble was bound to find its way to the forefront, but to this day, people still talk about it and wish to transport themselves back in time.
Harlow Dutton found herself in the care of a brothel at a young age due to her mother's mysterious disappearance. Along the way, she pulled two troubled friends into her orbit and created her own family of misfits. But, as the West had a way of doing, trouble brewed behind the scenes. More and more disappearances were reported every day with only half the bodies found to close out the case.

Day by day, her discontent grew until she couldn't think of anything she wanted more than to escape a life that had been so cruel to her. The problem? There weren't many opportunities, much less for women, in the West. After a particularly rough run in, she decided enough was enough. Bounty hunting was one of the few ways to scrape enough money together to ride into the sunset and never look back.
Harlow fought to become the territory's first female bounty hunter and was assigned Cheyenne Wyatt, the most feared and ruthless outlaw in the area. No one thought she could possibly succeed, but Harlow wasn't one to balk at a challenge. She set out on her hunt and ran into the outlaw on more than one occasion--even got to know her...maybe more than she should have.
Through pain-staking investigation and sheer grit, she uncovered a secret that held the power to tilt life and death on its axis. Ghosts came to her with warnings, pleas, and grudges. Each interaction made one thing very clear: if the powerful men in charge were not stopped, Harlow would suffer a depraved fate.
